codehen.ai is a trading name of MCode Holdings Limited, registered in England & Wales, company no. 17554816. Registered office: 13 Gisborne Road, Sheffield, England, S11 7HA. We are the data controller for this website. You can reach us at mark@codehen.ai.
What we collect
If you use the contact form or email us, we receive your name, your email address and whatever you choose to write in your message. Please don't send us sensitive personal data.
We don't use analytics or advertising cookies, and this site doesn't set cookies of its own.
Why we use it
We use your details to reply to your enquiry and to keep a record of the conversation. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests: responding to people who contact us. If the conversation leads to work together, we may also rely on taking steps towards a contract.
We don't sell your data or add you to marketing lists.
Who handles it for us
- Vercel hosts this website and processes technical request data, such as IP addresses, to serve it securely.
- Loops delivers contact form messages to our inbox and keeps a record of who has enquired.
- Google Workspace provides our email.
- Google Fonts serves the fonts on this site, so your browser's IP address is sent to Google when the page loads.
Some of these providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on the safeguards UK data protection law requires, such as adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries that don't lead to work for up to 24 months, then delete them. If we work together, we keep records for as long as we need to for legal and accounting reasons.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your data, or ask us to correct or delete it, restrict how we use it, or stop using it. Email mark@codehen.ai and we'll respond within one month.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, please tell us first. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.
